We have been to ROSEKATTEN show!

We only entered one day, but we had a great one amongst other cat-crazy people :)

Our own Freyja got both BIV and NOM, but she does think it is a little scary still.

IP(N)Sandøy Astor lost for a great cat, and (N)Sandøy Falentin got only good critic also, but the boys did not get to the Panel THIS TIME :) We will try again in the end of September.

We have been to the Norwegian Forest Cat show in Oslo!! ( It is held every last saturday of May!) And i was pleased to see A LOT of great cats!!!! Sadly i forgot my camera :(

My Gratulations to the BIS 3-6 AND Forest Cat Champion Læna av Borgund(N)!!

This little beauty grew into the close to perfect 5 months old one below..

She surtenly is a WOW cat...

(N)Sandøy Frank got great critics to, and he got nominated :) Here he is relaxing after he got home again!

Thank you Karsten for great pictures and for taking so good care of him.

Our own (N)Sandøy Freyja got nominated also, and IP(N)Sandøy Astor got ex4 out of 6 strong candidates.. But most of all we had a GREAT week end with friends!!!

OHHH WHAT A WEEK END we had in Molde the 4 and 5 of august..!!

Hector and Astor both got a day in the spot light, and all the rest of the "gang" from the Skogkattringens Forum did very well indeed.

BOB Norwegian Forest Cat Winner and BIS 6-10 months: Kator av Borgund(N) We are also very proud of our beautiful Cæsar av Borgund(N) (Kator`s grandfather) who got BIS-Bonestructure..and he behaved like an little angel considering that he has not entered a show since last May...

Congratulations Internasjonal Premier (N)Sandøy Astor!!

He got his IP-cert at the SWS show in Sweden, and we are soooo proud of him! A HUGE thanks to Sissel and Kjell for taking him with them, and taking so good care of him, He also got a great ex2 on the Norwegian Forest cat show..

What a day!!!

Me, Carina and Lindis packed the car with Eyland, Elida and Bjarg and turned our noses north towards Trondheim. Hector was supposed to come also, but he couldn`t.. We stayed the night at a motell and Elida & Eyland got to know eachother again. Eyland did not recognise her, but he sure liked her!!! They "played" hide and seek in the bed..

In the end the cats setteled down in the bed..

After inserting the cays in the cages, and making sure we had everything under control we started on the finishing tuches on the cat`s for the show.

Not so very happy.. :)

We forgot to take pictures for a while, but at least we remembered in the panel!!!The judges all looked very close on a black Maine coon so we thought it would win, but Elida got 4 out of 5 votes! (one of them vrote 86 instead of 89 but came over to tell after realising it)

AND SHE DID IT!!! (N)Sandøy Elida BIS 6-10 in her very first show!! Here with the happy owner Lindis!! And after winning we packed up and drove back to Malmefjorden where Lindis`s housbond waited with pizza and wine!!

And very happy to be back home :)

I will not be able to stop smiling for days...(N)Sandøy Astor BIS neutered, (N)Rolvsrudskogens Hector BIS 6-10 , and we got best breeder also due to (N)Sandøy Bjarg and (N)Sandøy Dreng getting so good judgements.. We know our cats, and know they all have they`re little faults and things that can be better, but this is what makes breeding soo exiting, you try to make the next generation a little better in theese areas. No cat is perfekt, but this saturday, my two Big, Beloved and Beautiful boys were the best!!

Our cages.. my mum sew me the blue one!! I`ve got my whole family engaged now..

We have been to a Catshow in Molde, and we are sooooooo proud of our cats and owners.

(N)Sandøy Astor got his PREMIER title saturday, and was nominated saturday AND sunday. He got one of four votes saturday, and two of four sunday.(Lost in a draw.) He also got the BIV Total on sunday...(N)Rolvsrudskogen`s Hector was nominated saturday(he is only almost 8 months old..). (N)Sandøy Daga and (N)Sandøy Dreng Malmedal was both nominated sunday. (N)Sandøy Bella also got her CAP both days .. We are so proud of them all !!!

Mjøskatten 17 juni 2006:

Once again we filled the car and drove of to the south of Norway(over 120.000 km), invaded (N)Grünerløkkas and had a great time. Sissel and Kjell drove with us to Hamar saturday morning and we met up with "rølpegjengen". I had my daughter Carina, Cæsar and Bjarg with me this time.. Bjarg got his first CAC, Cæsar got an EX2 but he has "his bikini on" as the judge said so we did not expect him to get a ex1. But we did have a hope for him as a breeding male, and he did get the proud title "Best Breeding Male Kat2" with 98,25 points,and we are so proud of his offspring. His son Geisli av Borgund(N)got ex1,DB and NOM on saturday, Glød av Borgund(N) got ex1 also, Godi av Borgund(N) got ex2, and (N)Sandøy Bati got ex2. On saturday Godi av Borgund(N)got ex1,BIV and BIS (6-10 months) on Sunday!!!! Congratulations Ella, Inger Lise and family!!

Gulseth had problems choosing between the two boys...they are 8 months old.

Cæsar and his son Bjarg relaxing..It was so nice to see BIG Norwegian forest cats in the Panel also. We met Iswhata`s Exalibur also. He is Cæsars mum`s half-uncle, and a great looking boy. I could see the family resemblance to Cæsar :)

Norsk Skogkatt Mesterskap 2006:

We had a wonderfull weekend 27/28 may. We finally got our new male Hector home, we entered the Norwegian Forest Cat Championship and are very happy with the results we got this year.. A big thank you to Sissel, Taran and Kjell ((N)Grünerløkkas)) for hosting us this weekend, to Jon Wikne for letting me use a lot of his pictures ( I always forget) and to my friend Ella ((N)Løvetun`s) for the company,help and for taking so good care of Cæsar`s son Godi av Borgund(N)who got:

And like his father he takes it the "cool" way..(psst he is only 7,5 months old)

Cæsar av Borgund(N) got EX3 from Henry Hornell, but then he also got the great title "Skogens Prins" (Prince of the Forest) He was also the cat who travelled the longets way (over 120 miles)to get to the Championship and got the price "Mest langveisfarende"

We went to Sunnmørskatten`s show the 3/4 of september 2005.

Astor got 2 CAP`s (his first) and Biv both days,and a place in the panel on sunday. Bente Hilde and Bella was also there on saturday, and Bella got ex1 and BIV. We were so proud of them both!!!

Forest Cat Show 2004.Thanks to all the Catpeople for making us feel so welcome, and helping little stressed me. A special thanks to Ella who showed Cæsar in the panel for me..Cæsar got BIS 6-10, and Linus got BOX adult. And Cæsar got a special price from Else Nylund,the breeder Pan`s cats. (one of the first forest cats breeders)
